Dr Subba primarily is associated
academically with Tribhuwan University, Central Department
of Food Technology. He experiences greatly covers
the areas like food processing, preservation of food,
food industry as well as administration and management
of academic institutions with science and technology
activities. He has already published 2 text books
on meat technology, one research book, one training
manual and 17 scientific papers. He has acted as supervisor
of over 30 students’ dissertation so far. He
has the member of several higher level technical committees
and councils of the national level.

serving 7 years in that position. He had been nominated
as Board Member of Sugar Factory, Birgunj and Cotton
Development Board, Kathmandu. He has more than 35
research articles in different national and International
Journals. He has been honored by Gorkha Dakchin Bahu-III.
This is his second nomination in the council member
of NARC.

Mr. Mehata is a progressive
farmer of Sunsari district and well-known for his
agricultural activities. His multi-commodity farm
with almost advanced technological intervention is
famous beyond the district and served as a model of
mix-farming system which generally prevailed in the
country. He is politically affiliated with Madhesi
Janadhikar Forum.

Similarly, he has provided a number of consultative
services of national importance in his discipline.
He has been honored with several awards and prizes.

Dr. Bhartendu Mishra, ED, NARC Member secretary NARC Council

Experience : Dr.
Mishra is a senior professional in the field of Agronomy.
He has joined the Job in 1974 as Agriculture Development
Officer (G-III) in Department of Agriculture and served
with various capacities in the field of agricultural
research particularly in Oilseed research programme.
He has been serving as Executive Director of Nepal
Agricultural Research Council. His contribution is
greatly acknowledged for the development of new varieties
of oilseed crops in Nepal. He has presented more than
30 technical research papers in national and international
seminars/conferences. Dr. Mishra is associated with
different professional societies and he is awardees
of Mahendra Bidya Bhusan and Prabal Gorkha Dakshin
Bahu.
